08/02/2009: Y-Browser V0.89 released!

Y-Browser version 0.89 released.Main changes:

Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 3rd edition Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.

Currently Y-Browser only supports 3rd and 5th edition S60 mobile phones. This version is touch enabled, but not yet touch optimized. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.

If you need more information on the functionality of Y-Browser, you can visit All About Symbian or Symbian in motion and read the reviews they have written.

Incase you feel that some file support or other type of functionality is missing from the Y-Browser S60 file manager, then you could visit NewLC and start implementing your own Symbian Ecom plug-ins for Y-Browser.

Y-Browser is currently available in 34 languages, from which following 30 has been updated:

English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, brazilian - Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Chinese(Taiwan), Bulgarian, Indonesian, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Croatian, Norwegian, Arabic, Thai, Finnish, Turkish, Czech & Ukraina.

And following 4, are not updated with new strings added to the 0.89: Lithuanian, Japanize, Macedonian, Slovenian

If you language has not yet been updated, please send me email and I'll send you the current translation excel, so you only need to translater the missing strings

And if your language is not included at all, then please download YBrowser_LanguageStrings_v088.xls and translate the strings. Note that there is five sheets in the excel file and some of them are quite long, thus remember to scroll. Plug-in modules are currently available only in english, but I'll try finding some time to get them translated one of these days.

Changelog 0.89 version

Y-Browser and its plug-in are updated to version 0.89. Changes include fixes for touch support, though this version is not yet touch optimized in any way.

Nel mio vecchio fexplorer avevo "inbox"...qui dove li trovo i file ricevuti tramite messaggi bluetooth?

raga ma con un browser tipo fexplorer quindi con y-Tools o y-browser riuscite a vedere la cartella messaggi? ovvero c/systema/mail o e/system/mail? io vorrei passare da n70 a n93 e vorrei mantenere i messaggi conentuti in e/system/mail dite che il 3d edition dell'n93 li riconosca quelli del 2nd edition?

Con Y-Browser versione 0.77 io ho le cartelle C-D-E-Z più Mail Folder, dove all'interno ci sono (Ricevuti - In uscita - Bozze - Inviati ed Archivio) tutto mi sembra funzionare...

ho installato Y-Broswer 077, il cell ha fatto tutta l'installazione, mi conferma che i programmi sono installati, ma quando vado nel menù, nn c'è la cartella.

Ho provato a vedere in tutte le cartelle ma niente.

Vi prego aiutatemi perchè nn so dove sbattere la testa.

Sono andato anche in gestiojne file per vedere se effettivamente i programmi erano installati, e effettivamente risultano installati, ho anche porvato ad disinstallare e reinstallare, ma niente da fare nn mi esce la cartella del software come usciva sul vecchio 6680.

ciao ascolta l'y-browser lo dovresti trovare in una cartella chiamata yucca-tools, la trovi nel menu principale.. scendi sempre più in basso e dovresti trovarla

Nesta sono un vecchio possessore di nokia 6680, quindi penso che le funzionalità si assomiglino, ma ti assicuro che nn esce nessuna cartella, per questo sono allarmato nn vorrei che ci fosse qualche problema propio di sistema operativo, perchè poi ho provato ad installare dei giochi, e li tutto ok.

Non so speriamo che tu o qualcuno mi possa aiutare.

La versione 0.77 a me non ha mai dato nessun problema...ti confermo quello detto da Nesta86...deve crearsi una cartella denominata Yucca Tools...

P.S. Prova...cosi tanto per provare....a spegnere e riaccendere il telefono dopo l'installazione...

Il percorso da te indicato, io non lo trovo in nessuna partizione, dentro system non vi è nessuna cartella mail.

Strano, a te funziona tutto????a me in mail folder mi trova come dici tu ricevuti, in uscita, bozze.......ma sono sempre vuoi...come se non mi legge i messaggi...anche se ne ho sul cell!

Ragazzi niente da fare, nn riesco a capire perchè nn si vede l'icona il programma risulta installato, stamattina ho passato lo stesso progr. ad un amico che ha n73 ed a lui funziona, cosa fare????
