Certificati Symbian S60 (Devcert)

I have requested DevCert since "Richiedi Qui Il Tuo Certificato [13/07/2011]" but everytime to login to obtain DevCert, I always get "DevCert.zip (5.46K)" (There is no .cer & .key) in attachment., please help.

- select Start | Settings | Control Panels | Folder Options

- select the View tab

- check "show hidden files and folders"

- UNcheck "hide file extensions for known file types"

- Click OK to finish

then what should i do with DevCert.zip (5.46K)to make it's work?

It's a zip archive... Just extract it using XP / Win7 / WinRar or any software able to extract the .zip archives.

After extracting & following instructions above, there is still a "DevCert" with no file extension (no .key & .cer).

You missed some spot, cause I downloaded the devcert.zip (13/7/2011) and when i extracted it i have those files (see pic)

Wich program did you use to extract?

I downloaded DevCert.zip from 13.6.2011, unpacked with 7zip unpacker (winrar 3.92 didnt open it , because its GZIP archive .. ) and again packed to NORMAL ZIP archive ... Now winrar ( or X-plore .. ) can open this repacked ZIP archive

This is a boring issue by SymbianSigned, we just rename the .zip downloaded from their site

I use winrar 4.01 beta 1 with no problem...

Never mind.... we will try to fix this stuff unpackaging and repackaging their zip.

yes, the new certificate can be used for 3 years, or even later (you can just change the date back)
