HOW TO USE THIS CFW FOR NOKIA N97??

1) Download your firmware v21 via Navifirm

2) Download my CFW containing rofs3

3) Download new jaf_nok4models.ini from HERE Thanks to:chandarakk and oreo27

4) Put jaf_nok4models.ini in C:\Program Files\ODEON\JAF

5) My rofs3 name is RM-505_21.0.045_C01_prd.rofs3.fpsx

6) Rename my rofs3 like your own rofs3

ex: if your rofs3 name is RM-505_21.0.045_C03_prd.rofs3.fpsx then rename my

RM-505_21.0.045_C01_prd.rofs3.fpsx to RM-505_21.0.045_C03_prd.rofs3.fpsx

7) Download JAF and Pkey Emulatorv5

8) Open Jaf and do like this (tick factory set to hard reset automatically)

9) Put all 8 files of firmware in FIRMWARE location..

10) Then redo instruction No.8, U will have 4 green now, MCU and bla,bla,bla..

11) CLick FLASH!!

ciao a tutti,sto provando questo Coocked Firmware da un mese.e sinceramente lo trovo ottimo! a parte che...........

una volta installato mi ha mandato lo stesso l'sms al mynokia,l'applicazione fotocamera non si chiude mai e cosi anche rubrica messaggi ecc.....insomma quando fai esci ai programmi che nell'originale rimanevano aperti anche in questa versione rimangono aperti.

LA root c:\ mi da sempre come spazio disponibile 54mb il che è gia buono rispetto al mio originale,la ram con due programmi aperti ovvero total recall e slide unlock v1.16 (quello cinese) mi dice sempre 45mb circa.

io ho la versione 22.0.110 caricata.

Adesso non so sei il cfw si comporta cosi perche non ho fatto l'hard reset dopo aver fatto il flash del nuovo firmware,la memoria di massa ricordo bene l'ho formattata sia prima che dopo,ma non ricordo se ho fatto l'hard reset.

Proverò a fare l'hard reset,ma non credo che cambi la situazione dei problemi da me citati sopra,se qualcuno l'ha provato ed ha avuto gli stessi problemi scriva qui.

per il resto mi sembra un ottimo cfw,tra l'altro lo adoro per la mod speciale che rende lo schermo reattivo al tocco di esso in stand by cosi quando non ho la tastiera bloccata mi basta toccare il display per sapere che ora sono o se sono arrivati sms o chiamate.

per il resto se funzionasse a dovere per le cose che dovrebbe fare direi che piu che ottimo.

su PirateV5 22.0.110

niente da fare,ho rifatto la procedura di flash del cfw con tutti i passaggi di formattare la memoria prima e dopo il flash hard reset,ma questo cfw è stato fatto male su alcune cose,ovvero continua a mandare l'sms a mynokia,non chiude le applicazioni quando gli si dice esci e intendo alle solite messaggi,rubrica,fotocamera,agenda,ecc.....su fattore startup non è cambiato nulla rispetto all'originale,velocità ottima (senza effetti) fw stabile,tutto il resto funziona a dovere,stupide alcune opzioni impostate di default come il lock remote o il rapporto degli sms.

stupido il fatto che ramblow sia installato e funzionante da subito,praticamente la ram per essere impletata viene usato insieme alla mod di pirateV5 il medesimo programma.

su altre cose...mah direi che funziona bene opzioni stupide a parte.

stupenda l'opzione della rettività dello schermo al tocco i stand by.

se riesco a ricucinare questo cfw e a correggere alcuni errori fatti da pirateV5 non sarebbe male.

va be,magari nel frattempo pirate si accorge dei suoi errori........ma dubito.

niente ho deciso che scrivero a Pirate per fargli sapere dei difetti del suo cfw,cavolo non fa un sacco di cose,ma è pazzesco! un cfw cosi bello con quei difetti,ma poi dico tra tutte le opzioni che poteva mettere tipo i 30 sec dello spegnimento display e il rapporto degli sms che lui sicuramente usa,non poteva anche settare di default che non facesse gli aggiornamenti FOTA? cioe non ha senso questa cosa!!! poi dato che c'era poteva tenere solo l'impostazione del gps interno come unica opzione,ma va bo va a sapere.
