Nokia N8, ecco il primo custom firmware by CODeRUS

Grazie al lavoro di un team di smanettoni composto da CODeRUS, Faenil, fonix232 e la collaborazione del nostro Il.Socio, è stato realizzato il primo custom firmware per il Nokia N8. La notizia proviene dal blog di Faenil ed è accompagnata dall’annuncio che in futuro ci potrebbe essere anche la possibilità di un rilascio di una versione di Android, sempre compatibile con il Nokia N8. Faenil ci tiene a sottolineare, però, che questa possibilità è abbastanza remota, ma non irrealizzabile!

Quello che segue è il changelog del primo Custom Firmware per il Nokia N8 mentre per il download dei file del custom firmware vi rimando a questo topic del Nokioteca Forum.

  • removed Show open applications from the top of menus
  • disabled Charging notes
  • removed FM transmitter on/off notifications
  • removed Leave offline mode query to access network. Only for power key event! *
  • bluetooth stays on when switching to offline mode
  • added fixed FileBrowser S^3 (full access to filesystem) **
  • built-in File manager can see sys, resource and edit private folders. also can see root of C drive.
  • Lock screen and keyboard replaced by Reboot phone
  • starup tone and mbm animation moved to C drive
  • my own installserver for installing unsigned with all capabilities
