How to connect your N-Gage/N-Gage QD to the internet through your PC (free) without using GPRS/WAP network services! So here goes...
Firstly...
Creating an access point on the N-Gage/N-Gage QD
tools....settings...connection....access points....options...new access point>default settings...
Enter the following:
Connection Name: Anything (But remeber to write this name down because you will need to enter it in
various programs that require a net connection) THIS WILL BE YOUR ACCESS POINT NAME
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name: The name you gave your bluetooth connected computer...
Username : None
Password : No
Authentication : Normal
Gateway IP Address : 0.0.0.0
Don't touch the advanced settings ....
and hey presto this should create your access point name....
also can you check these settings on your N-Gage/N-Gage QD.....
tools.....settings....connection...select GPRS
GPRS Connection...set to 'When Available'
Access Point ... <Computer Name> here enter the name of your computer as reported by the Belkin Software....

Secondly
right click the belkin bluetooth icon in the systray...advance
configuration.....local services.....select Network Services and click
properties....then in the drop down box....make sure you have
"Allow other devices to access the Internet/Lan via this computer" selected....
and I clicked Configure Internet Connection Sharing button at the bottom too
but it did nothing...but i suspect it changed some registry entries....doesnt hurt to press it once at least....
go back and connect again....when i connect the
serial port....the
bluetooth icon (black ball on the ngage gets 2 brackets around it while its
connected to the net or if you have a QD the little light icon)...as well as the letter G in the top
left hand corner for...

Thirdly
This applies to the Belkin Bluetooth Software but could be similar for other bluetooth USB devices....
the magic sequence is to make sure the belkin
software connects to the serial port with the
ngage and let mrouter change its icon to a
connection status (2 coloured triangles or a
computer and phone)...that will enable internet....(mrouter acts as a gateway to the hybrid bluetooth network)
right click the bluetooth icon in the systray....
quick connect....bluetooth serial port....other devices.....
now if you've paired them correctly the name of your n-gage/n-gage qd will come up...
select it
and let it connect
it might come up with an error....ignore it and press ok.... mine says it
connects to COM0 ...
if you have PC Suite installed look at the mrouter icon.... 2 grey triangles change colour when it connects....or changes to another graphic of a computer or phone....success!
so far so good...

Last Part.....
When you enter access the web the first time...it asks which access point to use....use the one you created above...under connection name...it should be in the list..
EDIT: Important Notice remember that the pre-installed Nokia Web software is no good for this technique because Nokia do not bypass a true GPRS connection so you will need a program like Netfront or Opera!!!! Sorry guys I forgot to mention this before.

4> solo dopo aver creato questo punto d'accesso installate QUESTO programma:
bene ora il sistema è semplicissimo,per connettersi in internet usando questo metodo basta:
attivare bluetooth sull'n-gage,inserire la penna bluetooth usb sul pc,aprire gnubox,tasto sinistro (opzioni),premere su 2box direct e selezionare bluetooth dopo di che rileverà il vostro pc,voi lo selezionate e la schermata diventerà blu; adesso uscite e andate su n-gage arena(o l'n-gage arena launcher o l'n-gage arena da un gioco) e quando chiede selezionare punto d'accesso selezionate bluetooth,sul pc il mrouter diventerà colorato (blu) e sul telefono il bluetooth risulterà come connesso,la password e il nick sono gli stessi che usate per il forum o se non ce lo avete vi registrate in n-gage arena.
se volete davvero essere soddisfatti dal vostro n-gage dovete provare il gioco online con gli eventuali tornei e concorse di cui da la possibilità.
