Red Faction 2 is a futuristic action-adventure game that places the player in the grimy boots of a miner who's trying to escape from an exploitative evil corporation. The game masterfully blends 3D with 2D to create vast interactive environments for the player to explore by pushing obstacles, collecting keys, unlocking doors and crossing death-defying platforms. With a vast array of weapons ranging from a pistol or shotgun through to a grenade launcher or flame-thrower, the player is given the power to blast everyone and everything that gets in their way.
