[C5-03] Symbian^anna Lite Cfw

Instructions and Easy Flashing Guide

Step 1:

Download Phoenix, CFW Files and Symbian^Anna Lite

Step 2:

Open Rick's CFW Archive, Locate RM-697 Folder and extract it to C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/

Open Symbian^Anna Lite CFW Archive then extract it to Desktop, also extract the UDA file to Desktop ( UDA is optional )

Step 3:

Extract and Install Phoenix

Step 4:

Open Phoenix

Click File > Open Product > Select RM-697 ( Better type RM-697 in type filter then select it )

Step 5:

Go to Flashing > Firmware Update

Step 6:

Open Product Code and Select RM-697 CTR INDIA Aluminum Grey and Click OK

Step 7:

Check Dead Phone USB Flashing Then Click Options

Step 8:

In Flashing files and their parameter option, delete everything except RM-697_20.0.024_prd.core.C00

Step 9:

Click Add, then Open File, Go to Desktop and add the Files with this properties:

ROFS2 - Type: PPM

Use case: Check Backup/Restore and Refurbish

UDA ( If you want to keep your data, flash without any UDA ) - Type: Content

Use Case: Refurbish

Step 10:

Click OK, then Click Refurbish. Turn Off phone ( Don't connect USB yet ) > Press Ok > Connect USB > Phone will boot up to Nokia Logo and Install the drivers, Remove USB only if it Phone boots up to Nokia Splashscreen > Wait for phone to turn off > Connect USB

Step 11:

Wait until a pop-up message appears saying that flashing is complete, look at your phone, if it is already booting up at the nokia spash screen, quickly remove the USB Cable. Done!

Hard Format Guide ( Do this if you only know what your doing! )

Turn off phone

Hold Volume buttons ( both up and down volume button, very tricky to do ), Lock button, Green Button first

Don't release yet! Now Long press power button, Release power button only after phone has boot up but keep other buttons pressed.

If done right, the phone should ask country and time information again.

Da quello che leggo nella guida penso che si perda la lingua italiana. Il cfw è costruito su firmware RM-697 CTR INDIA e probabilmente cambia anche il Product Code. Sarebbe interessante sapere se qualcuno l'ha già provato e semmai avere una guida italiana corredata dei vari screenshots passo-passo.

Ho scaricato tutto l'occorrente ma aspetto a metterci mano, non vorrei perdere la localizzazione italiana.

Gia'... sono d'accordo con la tua analisi.

Io l'ho postato piu' che altro perche' sul forum non era presente neppure un cfw per C5-03 e poteva far sorgere il dubbio che non fosse possibile realizzarli.

Magari qualche italiano si mettera' all'opera e ne creera' qualcuno in lingua locale. :)

Io l'avevo provato, fin dalle precedenti versioni. Funziona bene, perlomeno molto meglio del pessimo fw originale Nokia! La lingua italiana va importata con nfe, anche se alla fine mi era scomparso il T9...non che fosse un gran problema, ma comunque una scocciatura. Sono tornato al fw Nokia solo perché il mio c5-03 è stato problematico fin da quando l'ho comprato, e così lo volevo portare finalmente al Nokia center. In ogni caso conviene provarlo, non è affatto male e i bug sono i soliti di nokia!

vorrei riportare la versione 4 di questo CFW che introduce Symbian Belle per il device C5-03

a questo punto una domanda, lavorando con nokia cooker posso sostituire l'inglese con l'italiano prendendolo da un fw ufficiale nokia??

perfavore potreste riscrivere tutta la guida in italiano? non capisco molto bene e ho paura di ritrovarmi con un fermacarte al posto del cellulare...... :rolleyes: ah vi ricordo che ho un nokia c5-03 con firmware 21.0.003, si può flashare lo stesso? :mumble:

Non riesco a flasharlo, ho provato a scaricarmi il FW .24 e a sostituire la ROFS2, mantenendo la ROFS3 originale, ma non va...
